The preparation work before operation of prestressed tensioning equipment is described briefly

A prestressed tensioning device is a device used to apply prestressed values, mainly in conjunction with a tensioning jack and a tensioning oil pump. In order to ensure the stability of the tensioning equipment, the following checks should be carried out before construction.

1.Check whether the prestressed construction team has the corresponding qualification level.

2.Personnel should check the prestressed tension equipment.

3.in the tensioning equipment calibration, check whether the tensioning machine, equipment, instruments to check whether the running direction of the jack piston is consistent with the actual tensioning working state.

4. There should be product qualification certificate, factory inspection report and test report of qualified sampling witnessed on site.

5, regular maintenance, check the tension equipment, jack and its supporting oil mercury, oil pressure gauge.

6, calibration, the use of long column pressure testing machine, pressure testing machine, standard dynamometer or sensor calibration. The accompanying pressure gauge for each oil pump requires an additional backup.

7, the post-tensioning method should check whether the aperture meets the requirements, if there is dirt, should be removed.

8. When the stress control method is used for tension, the relative allowable deviation between the actual elongation value of the prestressed tendon and the design theoretical elongation value is ±6%.

9, when excessive tension is required, the stress of the same bundle of prestressed tendons is uniform, and the tension shall not exceed the design specifications of concrete structures.

10, tension, tension sequence, tension process should meet the requirements of the design and construction scheme.
